Glamorgan Bird Club 
Got v close to the Med Gull [assuming it was the same bird] as after delivering the wood we went for a walk by the pool. It had v small amount of black on 1, poss 2 primaries and was moulting what would have been at least a partial hood [hence eye patch ‘masked’]. Also legs and bill were yellowish, so I would put that at late 2nd summer bird. From a distance would have probably looked like an ad, although as I say maybe diff bird, but seems unlikely. 3 each of Teal, Wigeon & Shoveler were near the boathouse.
