NB Links to Word versions of forms on this page, will open the form in Google Docs, but the file can then be downloaded by clicking the ‘File’ menu and choosing ‘Download’.

We’re a friendly and welcoming bunch, so whatever your level of knowledge, if you think you might like to join in any of our activities and want to find out more, get in touch.

You may join the club by contacting the Membership Secretary, Alan Rosney, and relay your details personally to him. Alternatively, you may download a copy of a membership application form, and complete that to send to Alan by post. Click here for a pdf version or click here for a Word version. His details are as follows:

Alan Rosney, 10 Parc-y-Nant, Nantgarw, RCT, CF15 7TJ; Tel: 01443 841555; email:

Existing members who renew by cheque can download the standard membership application form above, and indicate on it that you are a renewing existing member. This gives you the opportunity to alter any of your preferences, such as receiving email notifications, gift aid etc.

Standing Orders

Paying your membership by standing order significantly reduces the Club’s administration costs.

The easiest option is to download a copy of the Mandate form:
There are two versions:
A pdf which you can print and fill in with a pen and post: Click here
A Word version which you could fill in on your computer but should then be printed, signed posted to your bank: Click here
Please note that the standing order form MUST BE SENT TO YOUR BANK and not to Alan.

Existing members may also download the standing order mandate to change their payment method.
If you refer, Alan Rosney can be contacted for a form, which he can e-mail. You then fill in the form, making sure you enter your full name at the end, and send it to your bank.

Gift Aid

The membership application form also contains a section to allow you to Gift Aid your subscription. If you are a tax payer, we would encourage you to do this, as it will enable GBC to reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 you give on or after 1st April 2019. This does not affect your personal tax position.
