I went to Ogmore this morning, until Lol called. The black-throated diver was still there at 2.00pm and was very accomodating for a number of shots. 2 good ones at

Very near the bridge on the east lake.
Nothing out of the ordinary at Ogmore.
Fantastic shots Andy, especially the first one. The bird was still present between 16:00 and 17:00 this evening, still on the East lake but further from the bridge and slowly moving away.
Thanks for the nice comments Chris. I was lucky it was close to the path – shot through the trees just before the bridge. It did spend quite a bit of time diving – and was underwater for long periods, swimming long distances. If it was the same one seen at Barry dock in Feb, I wonder if it’s mate will turn up tomorrow?
