Would think suitable habitat for a stopover along the Ely river between St F& Miskin
Indeed Cliff. We think the group seen over St Athans a couple of weeks ago must have overnighted somewhere between there & Cardiff where they were sent the following day.
I saw one years ago on Peterston Moors which is an obvious choice of habbo – not far from Pendoylan
The last tickable ones I remember sticking around in Glamorgan were Jan 2001 on the Gwent / Glam border, I remember dipping witn NRT, but had a good excuse – my son James had just been born! These latest ones are non-tickable reintroduced ones from the continet aren’t they? – I saw several of them at Slimbridge in the winter – Look out for combinations of green, orange and blue rings on their legs!
