Hi Della, not absolutely sure, but Wheatear are regularly reported at coastal locations when they arrive in the spring. Not sure what part of Barry waterfront you mean, but along the coast by the Knap looks a likely place – areas of grass etc. There was a female at Cosmeston yesterday.
Thanks John, it was along the Dock opposite the Premier Inn on the stones below the railings, let’s hope there is a pair!!! I will keep my eye out as I walk the dog along there daily,
