Apparently the Night-heron was still present yesterday morning, seen by one of the rangers doing his rounds, sitting well down in the base of the willow of t’other day.

I spent an hour there this morning but no sign of it from 9-10am
I think it is being truly crepuscular now and staying well hidden in daylight hours.
