No sign of the Bittern this morning, although 3 Snipe, 3 Water Rail (2 of which heard only), 2 kingfisher, 2 Moorhen, 1 Reed Bunting and 2 Buzzards from both hides. Also at least 1 Chiffchaff near the canal, presumably last week’s individual.
