There was a Cetti’s in full song, high on the Bracken slopes between two blocks of Ash woodland on north Gower this evening. Whilst only 200m from the usual reedbed habitat, it was nevertheless quite exceptional.

They are definitely spreading Barry. i’ve noted two new territories since last year around the corner in Western Gower.
Its interesting Barry as there are several territories at Kenfig Pool now well away from the reed beds in just scrubby areas.
