Interesting one. Difficult to tell with just the one photo. Any other angles? Really need a standing or underwing shot. Candidate for 1st w YLG. Could it be a caspian? The bill/head may just be ok but the colour is not quite the 4 colour, and we need the other shots. What was the jizz? How aggressive was it to the other gulls?
Tertials say it is not a LLB and White head says not likely to be a herring.
Thanks for your comments Andy. Was wondering if it could be a Caspian but not sure the bill is right. I was in a hurry and didn’t get any shots in flight or standing. Hopefully it will show up again.
