On a walk with visitors, so didn’t check every bird. Best was a pair of Dippers. Also singing Blackcap, Chiff-chaffs, and usual birds inside the museum grounds including many swallows, some nesting in traditional places.

Not a comment on this post Paul but just to let you know that there is a Common Whitethroat singing regularly in Sanatorium Park south of the school on Sanatorium Road. It’s down in the uncut longer grass at the bottom of the field just off the trail. It’s been there daily now for over ten days.
