Afraid not but it sounded exactly like the recording we got off the internet, quite different from the normal huit. Perhaps it will be there again tomorrow.
I was wondering if you’d considered Iberian, which could be interpreted how you describe and perhaps may be more likely at this time of year?
Does not Iberian (April to June) have a rather different call to Siberian ie seeu ? The Chiffchaff I saw is way out of season if Siberian (October to March) but the call did sound so like Siberian. I simply dont have the experience to judge!
