Hiya cinemaclassic. You couldn’t poss go to your settings on WordPress and change your display name could you? By default it uses the ID that you registered with but it’s useful to know who your are – hope you don’t mind me asking. Anyway, YL Gull – I saw it at a distance so ti was the warm, what I call elephant grey of the back, part way between the silvery grey of Herring and the slate grey of LBBG. They usually have a very clean head, as this one did. It was too distant for me to see the eye ring.
Thanks for the ID tips. Might pop over tomorrow and see if it’s still around. I’ve hopefully changed the display settings now it was using the ones from my own WordPress blog

How do you tell the YLG from the mass of HGs? Wikipedia would suggest red eye ring and darker back?
