My first ever little ringed plover for the site was on Sker Point this morning. Also 22 whimbrel, 2 bar-tailed godwit, grey plover, 4 dunlin, 8 ringed plover, 30 sanderling, 2 greylags and 8 wheatear.

I didn’t see Dave’s LRP (waders were arriving and departing this morning) but I did get total counts for the high tide of 15 Ringed Plover, 1 Grey Plover, 17 Dunlin, 78 Sanderling, 22 Whimbrel, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit (including a brick red stunner). Two Little Egret flew through early on and a couple of Greylags were doing noisy laps of the area. A Little Owl was showy early on at the farm plenty of Wheatear between there and Sker 30+. Later at the Kenfig Pool, 1 Swift, 300+ Sand Martin, 2 House Martin and 1 Common Sandpiper. Reed and Sedge Warblers have arrived and are singing at west pool reeds.
