Like the lofty new hide- like being at Minsmere!    Bee orchids .  Highland cattle wallowing in  the reed bed by the lake-like water buffalo.

Lots of Black Tailed Godwits about.

Southern Hide- 3pm- bittern walked across flattened reeds at the back of the first cut.

\\\yesterday, late afternoon. 8 goldeneye, 2 redshank, c70 canada geese, lots of little grebe, curlew, mallard grey wagtail, pied wagtail, llittle egret, teal, bh and herring gull.

Saturday 16th, Monthly birdwatch.  35 species, including a posing kingfisher and spectacular bittern flyby from the southern hide.  Thanks Adrian.
