2 swift mingling with a large mixed flock of swallows and martins over the River Taff opposite Hamadryad Park earlier today (10 am) (also Sparrowhawk over).

Turtle Dove – Cosmeston

Turtle Dove found sheltering from the rain in a cherry tree immediately south of dragonfly pond in the west paddock. Flew off low and eastwards when redwing flock (c. 100) were spooked. Didn’t look like it went far. Also green woodpecker nearby.

Flock of c. 120 Fieldfares flew over heading north this morning.

Also of note – single swallow heading south
