1 little egret feeding in field just off road near margam park entrance .
Cwm kenfig – mynydd margam
13 brambling flying in a flock around the tree tops of cwm kenfig beech woods also 8 vocal crossbill flying around the conifers over looking the beech wood. A few redwing and fieldfare at waen y gilfach also small numbers of mipits and stonechats, a couple of buzzard and a single kestrel on the power cables between the pylons.

100+ golden plover flying across valley this afternoon
Cwm kenfig (valley leading up from pen y bryn to mynydd margam)
At least 10 brambling there among a large chaffinch flock feeding on beech mast there.

Yellow browed warbler
Yellow browed warbler was still present this am the bird was the otherside of woods from the circle on map on earlier post, there’s 2 small sycamore tree’s with a large hawthorn next to it about 100 yds up the path on the right hand side from the road. The bird was in the hawthorn and was fluttering in and out into the sycamore and bramble bushes in the ferns on the bank.

16+ wheatear on ty talwyn and lots of pipit movement, kenfig – 6 wheatear on morfa tip, lots of warblers in scrub, many blackcap feeding on the blackberries, again lots of pipit movement and 2 clouded yellow butterfly on the wing

1 garden warbler singing in willow scrub next to river near footbridge that crosses the river also 2 groppers reeling 1 in cwmdu area and another in brookfield area
