A pair of Juv Redstars on the dead tree to the left of the boardwalk this afternoon. Also a couple of pochards out towards the pontoon.

Goldcliff
Good numbers of avocets with feeding chicks, together with four black-tailed godwit, redshank, greenshank, a few ringed plover and all the usual suspects. No sign of the curlew sandpiper.
Fforest Ganol
Good views of the flock of around 20 brambling together with several hawfinch just off the road near the main carpark, between 12 – 1 yesterday.
The Knap, Barry
Flock of around 40 fieldfare around the Knap and Romilly Park area of Barry this morning.
Barry Dock
Two great northern divers still present in the west dock at 11.30 on Monday 29th, near the old tank wash.
Cosmeston
Juvenile Redstart in the southern fields, to the west of the Medieval village this evening.
Cardiff Bay
Male Wheatear showing well on the stone wall around the small lagoon in the north-west of Hamadryad Park.
Cold Knap Lake
Lesser Scaup now at the knap lake with several tufties as of 15.30 today. The picture below is the best I could get with my phone.
