Thirty five species noted this morning, highlight being two Hawfinch. Best of the rest:  Sparrowhawk, Buzzard, Raven, Snipe x2, Kingfisher x2, Dipper x2 and good numbers of Bullfinch.

This afternoon: Male Merlin low over common, Red Kite, Buzzard, Kestrel, G.S. Woodpecker, Green Woodpecker, Stonechat, Golden Plover numbers have increased from 26 to 45.

Belated sightings: Male Hen Harrier mobbing Buzzard and Kestrel over trig point ridge on 17th, Red Kite also present. 26 Golden Plover on 13th. A Ringtail Hen Harrier near the 3 masts on Sept 22nd.
