Med. Gull (2nd Winter) on football pitches with 50+ B.H.Gulls. Flew off towards Sophia Gardens when they were spooked by police helicopter. 2 Spotted Flycatchers at Riding School. 1 Goosander (redhead) on Taff.

Llanwonno yesterday 30th July – Barn Owl at 21:40 showing well was a nice surprise as I waited for the first of the Nightjars.  Minimum of 3 Nightjars heard and seen from 21:50.

Cuckoo (2), Skylark, Tree Pipit singing, Meadow Pipit, Whitethroat, Garden Warbler (2 together showing well).

Spotted Flycatcher (1) and singing Redstart in woods east of common along public right of way.
