While sitting on the rocks by the abandoned house (with binoculars in hand) I spotted a Cuckoo fly in from the sea into some of the trees, we rushed into the woodland to try and find it with no luck.

However Later on 7:30 pm ish (with no binoculars) in the same area of woodland I heard it calling, this time closer to the road (still near by the abandoned house).

Before the rain started again this afternoon. This is what I think is either a leucistic herring gull or Iceland gull, but not sure.

An unexpected find behind the dragonfly pond a turtle dove. Managed to snap about 30 photos but this is the best one:

Also of interest the bearded tit still present in the reed beds by the board walk, the marsh tit was in Cogan wood again and a brief view of a kingfisher on the west lake.
