The kittiwakes are back… not sure when they arrived. Had one med gull too and what I think was a small flock of purple sandpipers.

Meditteranean gull… nice surprise when walking the dog… never seen them closer than west cross before..

Grey Wagtail, Goldcrest, long tailed tit and coal tit obliged this morning. Heard Nuthatch and Greater spotted Woodpecker…. had a male black cap feeding in my garden in brynmill.

City centre – redwings seem flying over and a peregrine by the BT tower…. in Brynmill grey wagtail on roof tops.

Finally caught up with the wryneck; it was showing really well; also saw a pained lady butterfly there. Also spotted a greenshank at ogmore.

Could not find the Wryneck this evening. Had a wheatear a spotted fly and several fly pasts of a peregrine and a pair of stonechats… with a gorgeous sunset and moon rise…

I was astonished to see a black redstart hovering around my bird feeder yesterday morning… it flitted onto roof tops and then lost it… hopefully it will be back. A first for the garden….
