High tide with rob jones tonight 22o sanderling 180 ringed plover 25 dunlin 2 knot up to 10 med gulls around the dredger with another 3 close inshore heading west toward Swansea bay a female wheatear on the beach 5 mistle thrush by bay studios lots of swallows about

90 ringed plover 34 dunlin 60 + oyster catcher a perigrine was chasing a mistle thrush by the campus a dead herring gull in the dunes looked like a perigrine kill

2 pair of shelduck in the tidal dock another pair on the bay also there were 5 wheatear 3 little egret 1 common sandpiper male stonechat 2 reed bunting a pair of oyster catchers 2 linnet 2 lapwings over the paper factory 16 sanderling and 200+ oystercatcher on the point a whimbrel was on the Crumlyn burrows side ,also seen were meadow pipit robin dunnock blackbird, magpie carrion crow jackdaw. On the paper factory grounds were 41 rabbits (buzzard heaven) .

A male redstart in the woods before the dunes was the highlight of a quiet walk to the beach 6 sanderling 4 dunlin 6 ringed plover  were on the  tide line  skylark meadow pipit and 22 linnets were also seen 100s of gulls were in the air over the old ford plant

At the nearby water treatment works were willow warbler chiff chaff goldfinch and mallard

Nineteen goosander 10 males 9 females Woking their way round the pond sometimes coming close to the cafe area ,also there 56 mallard 4 tufted 5 mute swan 44 black headed gulls 2 mistle thrush dunocks robins and chaffinch
