Mewslade and oxwhich

finaly caught up with a yellow browned warbler by the car park at mewslade thanks to the birder who told me about it other birds seen in the valley were a pair of bullfinch lots of chaffinch 10 + robins lots of blackbirds a few song thrush 1 mistle thrush my first redwing of the winter 6 stonechat blue and great tits wren dunnock house sparrows around the farm ,meadow pipits ,and pied wagtails and buzzard over

caught  up with the Lapland bunting thanks Mark hipkin also there were 25 goldfinch 15 linnet 10 meadow plplts 8 wheatear 2 kestrels 4 Ravens 1 chough a gannet offshore 20 starlings a few pied wagtail there were dozens of silver y moths in 1 field

Brunel dock to baglan bay

2 pair of shelduck in the tidal dock another pair on the bay also there were 5 wheatear 3 little egret 1 common sandpiper male stonechat 2 reed bunting a pair of oyster catchers 2 linnet 2 lapwings over the paper factory 16 sanderling and 200+ oystercatcher on the point a whimbrel was on the Crumlyn burrows side ,also seen were meadow pipit robin dunnock blackbird, magpie carrion crow jackdaw. On the paper factory grounds were 41 rabbits (buzzard heaven) .

A male redstart in the woods before the dunes was the highlight of a quiet walk to the beach 6 sanderling 4 dunlin 6 ringed plover  were on the  tide line  skylark meadow pipit and 22 linnets were also seen 100s of gulls were in the air over the old ford plant

At the nearby water treatment works were willow warbler chiff chaff goldfinch and mallard

Swans on nest 4 pairs of tufted 3 pairs of mallard coots and moorhens over nearby kilvey hill 2 Ravens 1 kestrel 1 fem sparrow hawk
