40 Canada geese over my garden at 4 o clock flying south

Year ticked Paul parsons by the pool while we were chatting he spotted a bittern on the west side watched it fly into the reeds ,also seen by myself were a fieldfare eating berries by the center 12 redwing over male and female blackcap 11 meadow plplts 8 chaffinch  bullfinch coal blue and great tits robin dunnock wren blackbird song thrush 6 pled wagtails usual stuff on the pool house sparrow and greenfinch by the bird table a few red admirals a and a comma

18 redshank in the dock 18 mallard on the river 8 little egrets and 4 herons at the boat club 10 curlew down river

A 2 hour bush bash hoping for a y b w or better but very quiet just 12 goldfinch 2 chaffinch 2 stonechat wren dunnock robin blackbird 2 buzzards and g s woodpecker a quick look around the water treatment works by Swansea docks again very quiet with a few goldfinch chaffinch linnet blue tit and a kingfisher

100+swallows feeding over the saltmarsh and dunes a few house Martin amongst them, a female wheatear, 12 greenfinch,2 goldfinch, 4 linnet, a little egret,45 oyster catcher,10 curlew,2 dunlin,2 stonechats 1 juv, single pied wagtails meadow pipit and sparrow hawk

A mixed flock containing 2 chiff chaff 1 blackcap 8 long t tits 2 great tits 4 blue tits also there 6 jays 1 buzzard robin wood pigeon and swallows over the railway track towards the beach there were 6 stonechats 1 reed bunting 3 kestrel and a few meadow pipits

Blaenhondon 4 red kites 2 sparrow Hawks 1 kestrel 3 Ravens 10 carrion crows and 28 mallards

Crumlyn burrows good count of oyster catchers an estimate about 800 with more joining them from Swansea bay as I was leaving tide was a bit distant about 40 sanderling 20 curlew 30 ringed plover 4 dunlin large numbers of gulls of the usuall species

43 redshank in the tidal dock , 95 black h gulls in the paper factory field a further 250+ in the river and Crumlyn burrows side also 28 curlew 5 heron 4  little egrets  4 wheatears at baglan bay a few linnets and swallows over a common sandpiper and 11 mallards and stonechat

Quick visit this afternoon 1 juv spotted flycatcher 2 chiff chaff 2 long t tits 3 blue tits 4 goldfinch 3 chaffinch 2 mute swan 1 coot 4 magpies and a green woodpecker

28 redshank a common sandpiper and a kingfisher in the tidal dock,by the reed bed dock a mixed flock of 8 long tailed tits,10 blue tits,and 2 chiff chaff .on the Crumlyn burrows side there were 42 curlew 40 oyster catcher, 5 bar tailed godwit one with quite a bit of red s\p still 62 black headed gulls, also seen 2 stonechats, 1 wheatear, 14 linnet, 2 little egrets, 1 heron, and a male sparrow hawk

150+ ringed plovers 30+ dunlin 4 knot 15 curlew 80+ sanderling 1 greenshank 400+ oyster catcher 45 herring gull 1 wheatear and a skylark

400+black h gulls 20 redshank 50+ curlew 2 peregrines 1 sparrowhawk a few common sandpipers were in the tidal dock per peter Murray

An adult common sandpiper 17 redshanks ,1 heron,shelduck pair with 9 young,the first of the returning black h gulls with 3 in the tidal dock a reed warbler with food in the reed bed dock
