Wyevale Swansea Car Park

Very unusual to see a Turnstone in the car park of Wyevale garden centre in Llansamlet early this morning, appeared to be healthy just wandering around, and it allowed us to approach closely.  With Alannah Ruthen.

Snow Bunting present in sheep field above cliffs, feeding alone close to wall – still there at 15.30.

Also 5 Choughs flying along cliffs, and several Rock Pipits near cliff edge.

Port Eynon Point, Gower

Turnstone x 4 on rocks, Ringed Plover, Common Gull and Mediterranean Gull.
Eider juvenile present again just offshore. Few passing Gannets and Cormorants. 
Sandwich Tern x 12 and an Arctic Tern close on rocks, along with 10 Oystercatchers. 
Manx Shearwater x 7, Curlew, Swift, and Whitethroat.
