The 2025 Annual General Meeting of Glamorgan Bird Club, will be held on Tuesday 22nd April 2025 in Pencoed Rugby Club, 31 Felindre Road, Pencoed, CF35 5PB at 7:30 p.m. The venue is in Felindre Road on the left shortly after turning left at the first roundabout on the A473 after leaving the M4 northbound from J.35. The post code is CF35 5PB.

1. Chair’s presentation of the 2024-25 Trustees’ annual report
Resolution: That the 2024-25 Trustees’ annual report has been received.
2. The annual statement of accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025 and presentation of the Treasurer’s report
Resolution: That the annual statement of accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025 has been received.
3. Election of trustees
The ten current trustees are Tim Adcock, David Carrington, Jenna Clark, Strinda Davies, Paul Denning, John Duffy, Jean Haslam, David Hibler, Alan Rosney and John Wilson.
As per the Club constitution, three trustees must retire by rotation this year, and these are Strinda Davies, Jean Haslam and John Wilson. They are all standing for re-election.
Resolutions:
[a] that Strinda Davies is re-elected as a trustee
[b] that Jean Haslam is re-elected as a trustee
[c] that John Wilson is re-elected as a trustee
In addition, Tim Adcock and Jenna Clark were co-opted as trustees by the then existing trustees, after the 2024 AGM. Hence in compliance with the constitution, they must stand down as this AGM and stand again for election by vote from the members attending. However Tim Adcock is not standing for election.
Resolution:
[a] that Jenna Clark be elected as a trustee
4. Presentation of the ‘Robert Bradshaw award’.
