My first visit for quite some time. The Gt Crested Grebe pair seem to have given up the nest on W lake. Judging by the no. of swimming dogs, and plastic bottles in the water, and two life saving rings chucked in too, I guess there’s been too much disturbance. Chiffhchaff and Blackcap singing. A few Black-headed Gulls have reappeared, and two tatty drake Tufted Ducks were on E lake.
