Provided below is a list of GBC field trips with the most recent at the top with brief details of the trip and a link to a PDF list of all the species seen. This gives you an idea of what you might expect to see. Some are quite impressive lists! This list will be pruned from time to time otherwise it will become far too long.
We’re also going to try & keep a list of all the species seen in the current field trip program year. For the current year, Apr 2024 to end Mar 2025 the list has 140 species. Click here to view. We’ll also try and include in that list anything seen on the monthly walks. There are probably some missing at the moment but these will be added in as time permits and the list will regularly update.
Please note that prior to May 2019, these lists were created from a master Excel spreadsheet – the ‘1’ against listed species in those, is effectively a ‘tick’ indicating a species that was seen. This list will be kept up to date as often as possible.
