That’s what I thought they were, I’m no cetacean expert judd and they were probably porpoise , I’m going to get myself a small id guide later so as to be sure next time, sorry
Cetacean ID can be tricky Steve so no apologies necessary! Have a look at “Britain’s Sea Mammals” – a good, reasonably priced guide (I know the authors very well but am not on commission I promise!).
Have been considering that book , thanks , the biscay trips I went on were amazing both for birds and cetaceans and sometimes a fleeting glimpse is all you get. Thanks for the tip..

Common Dolphin is a super record at this location! I’ve yet to see one in Glamorgan. How I’d you ID them to species?
