The Wryneck of last week [Sep 18th] was seen again this morning by Lol Middleton in the same hedgerow that runs away from the coast path between the second and third stubble fields. Apologies but I couldn’t get this posted earlier. It was seen at around 10 a.m. It appears some photos have been taken.
I have edited this post. The location I originally gave was where it was seen last week. Apparently this a.m. it was by the hedgerow alongside the first paddock/stubble field past the big house by the coast path.
Just to clarify – Andy Burns and I found the bird in the FIRST field along the path – mainly on the ground close to the right-hand hedgerow. It was still there when we left at 11am.
Andy has added quite a few photos on his Zenfolio website :

Doh! Apologies Lol. I amended my post itself before seeing your comment, which to be approved as it as your first. You shd be able to make further comments without them having to be approved by admin i.e. me 🙂 Ta for the link to the photos – and thanks Andy for getting some shots. They shd obviate the need for a written description.
