As [nearly] all the paper’s comments say, it’s probably a lone wild bird. Singletons are seen occasionally in S Wales. There has been on on occasions here near Penarth. There are 1000’s of them in SE England, incl central London. Some hers ago there used to be a roost of about 3000 in trees near Esher Rugby Club!

The Singleton Park individual (a male) has been there at least three years. In fact, I filmed it a few days ago. It often flies around with the Jackdaw flock as they go to roost at dusk.
