I took the Iceland Gull photo just before lunch and returned late afternoon hoping to see the Bonaparte’s but could only find this 3rd cy Med Gull. Interestingly it doesn’t seem to have feet!

Wayne, the ‘legless’ med gull has been around for a while. We got a shot a few weeks ago at

It really struggles to land with no feet – and ends up flapping a lot. Not sure how it is on water as without feet it will not be able to stabilise itself.
Good to see it is still surviving.
Cheers Andy. It’s primaries also look rather warn. Possibly due to it having to use its wings more to overcome problems associated with its disability which you refer to. Cracking photos of yours as usual.
