A few swallows in November, and even December, is not unknown but the garden Warbler is certainly unusual. I suppose, being really provocative, if they weren’t actually seen flying South we could be talking about birds mistaking a spell of mild weather for Spring? I’ve seen some definite pair activity and man multiple species in my garden and nearby recently as well as some nest building.
Yes I know re Swallows – have seen imm birds at Cosmeston in November. A Song Thrush was singing its head off near our house this morning.
