13-Redshanks on south side of the island.To my knowledge an unusual sighting for this location. 16h00 jan.14th.

A flock of 100 or more Goldfinches,almost all were juveniles,in the fields at south side of lake.Also there were several juv. Willow Warblers and a Garden Warbler.10h30

Yesterday,july 4th. the Great Crested Grebes eggs finally hatched.At least two juvs. on parents back,could be three.

A family party of at least ten juveniles this evening in the trees alongside the railway line. Sorry,forgot to say Long Tailed Tits.

1-Swallow,1-House Martin,2-Sand Martins and a Chiffchaff.10h30-11h15
Cosmeston
30+ Fieldfares on the open ground towards dragonfly pond,also several Redwings with them.
6-Sand Martins over west lake and a Chiffchaff in same area.
Another 6-Sand Martins over a sheltered spot at the east end of the east lake.As I saw these Martins when returning to the car park,they were possibly the same birds. 10h15-11h50
