30 Canada Geese on floodwater this morning on old Paper Mill site. First I’ve seen them “on the ground” in this locality.

2 Cettis singing at two sites; Reed Warbler at three sites; Raven-2 over Grangemoor; Mute Swan pair with 5 young Ely River/trail.

Eight Great Crested Grebes; Skylark singing; Sedge Warbler singing; total 2 Cetti’s singing.

Grangemoor Park- Lesser Whitethroat singing, well away from “chimney” site on other side of reserve. Reed Bunting- one singing; Reed Warbler-singing at two sites. Leckwith Road drainage ponds- Reed Warbler singing. Mute Swan on nest.
