Thought I saw a linnet there this afternoon (didn’t have bins but song habitat colours and behaviour all matched) and definitely saw a greenfinch neither of which I’ve seen down there before despite going most days.
The regular female kestrel as well
I have to say that I haven’t seen Linnet or Greenfinch there..but now I will make an extra effort to look!
Linnet was singing on top of brambles on hillside on river side between the ’roundabout’ and the picnic area with the fishing areas.
Greenfinch was flying across the river in similar place
Just thought I’d let you know that since your post to me re Greenfinches at Grangemoor Park I have seen and heard one or two on each visit! Displaying and singing! Linnet still evades me though.
