A couple of crackers this morning, 2 Willow Tits ( a bit early to be paired up I think) attracted by recording and just a few minutes later at the other side of the site, a female Hen Harrier being mobbed by a crow just east of penderyn reservoir.

What an exciting morning for you! I’ve seen quite a few pairs in the last few weeks, even displaying ‘courtship’ behaviour (eg Dunnocks, but we all know about them). Not so much now it’s a bit colder, but Collared Doves seem very paired up.
In Cardiff bay sewage treatment works today, just hundreds of Black Headed Gulls, and you dont want to be beneath them when they all take off. ☔💩
